Boxing Our Way to the Olympics

The Olympics are never too far away, and Reno is pumped! The Biggest Little City of Reno is hosting the Olympic trials for Men’s Boxing.

The 2016 Olympic Team Trials for Men’s Boxing is taking place starting today through the 12th of December. The first four days of the boxing trials will take place at the Silver Legacy Exposition Hall while the final rounds will be held at the Reno Events Center December 11th and 12th. Buy tickets here.

Olympic hopefuls from across the country began qualifying for Olympic Trials in December of 2014 and eight boxers in each of the 10 men’s weight divisions will compete in Reno for the chance to represent the United States in the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. This will be a double elimination tournament, giving every athlete an extra opportunity to fulfill their Olympic dream.
