Visit Reno in October for Reno Events

I know you don’t need an excuse to take a vacation, especially one to Reno! However, here are some events to sweeten the deal, as you will not want to miss these!

  1. Blue Jeans Jam: Blue Jeans Jam is North America’s premier celebration of the denim lifestyle, honoring Jacob Davis, the Reno, NV tailor who invented riveted blue jeans. A unique, pop culture festival, Blue Jeans Jam fuses fashion, food, music and relaxation into a weekend event catering to the worldwide denim community.
  2. Great Italian Festival:For 34 years, the Eldorado has brought the sights, sounds and flavors of Italy to downtown Reno. The outdoor festival is a celebration of Italian culture and tradition. Downtown Reno is transformed into Little Italy with a grape stomp, sauce cookers competition, wine walk, an Italian farmer’s market, kids’ gelato eating contest, Italian Buffet and incredible, free, live entertainment and vendors.
  3. Zombie Crawl: The Reno Zombie Crawl (mentioned in USA Today as one of the top 10 costumed Halloween parties in the nation) is a massive (and we mean MASSIVE) party with about 15,000 of the best people, more than 100 different drink specials, thousands of dollars worth of costume contest prizes, over 55 bars, clubs, restaurants and taverns where it’s basically IMPOSSIBLE not to have the time of your (undead) LIFE.
  4. Pumpkin Palooza: Experience tons of old-fashioned fun for the entire family.  Named a “Top 10 Event” by Food Network Magazine in 2014, festivities include build and race a pumpkin in the Pumpkin Derby, a children’s costume parade, storytelling in the Haunted School House, carnival games provided by Circus Circus Reno and much much more!

Reno weather is nice year-round and October is no exception. Plan your Reno vacation and enjoy some or all of these Reno Events!
